Do We Need Readers in the Translation Process of Literary Texts? (Problems of Research Methodology)

Paper deals with problems of literary translation and reception of such translations. The main problem is methodology of researching the reception of such translated text, because practice shows that very often the aim of translators and the result of reading are not the same.
