Managing Risks in the Construction Industry
Construction industry is a field of economy that is especially sensitive to financial changes. In Croatia, as well as in the countries of the European Union that found their economies on international market relations, there are legal regulations related to risk managing. Risk managing varies and depends, most frequently, on the type of risks and on their predictability. This paper deals with the means for contract strengthening and with the possibilities of managing: a) risks that competent management can reduce or even avoid ; b) risks that can be neither foreseen nor avoided, but for which there must be a strategy on the top management level, and c) risks that can be partially or completely transferred to some other subject in the contract.
