Study of advertisements in Croatian professional textile journals from 1930 to 2019

Paper analyses advertisements related to the textile industry published in Croatian textile journals in the period from 1930 to 2019 at intervals of 30 years, i.e. a one-year sample of 1930, 1960, 1990, and 2019. The content of an advertisement, the number of advertisements, and the location of the company are considered. This method ensured enough collected advertisements to analyse continuities and changes in the textile world in Croatia from the abundance of advertisements of the 1930s and the rise of the industry to decline of the advertisers and industry after 90 years.
