Comparison of 4G and 5G NR NSA QoE measurements in Croatian cities
The first 5G networks in Croatia are NSA (non- standalone) versions of 5G concentrated mainly on eMBB (enhanced Mobile Broadband) deployment. This paper analyzes how the introduction of the 5G network in Croatian cities affects the quality of the user experience (QoE) by measuring the data transfer rate (throughput) and ping (round trip time). The comparison of 4G and 5G network measurements is also given in order to evaluate the enhancement the introduction of 5G has brought to subscribers.
