The impact of interventions on changing children’s attitudes and behavior toward food choice
According to the WHO, by 2025 the goal is to change the eating habits of school-age children. There is evidence that interventions are effective in changing food choices among different age groups, and the use of interventions shows encouraging results when it comes to the possibility of changing consumer behavior in the domain of food choices. Interventions to accept a healthy type of food are extremely necessary in today’s world. The main question that arises is whether children’s food choices can be predicted by understanding implicit and explicit attitudes in the domain of healthy food choices and which interventions can be effective in trying to change attitudes towards healthier consumer choices.
