Internet use among patients with depression and schizophrenia in Croatia
Aim: The aim of this study was to examine the use of the Internet among psychiatric patients at the University Psychiatric Hospital Vrapče diagnosed with depression and psychotic spectrum disorders. Methods: A survey was conducted between December 2018 and February 2020 at the University Psychiatric Hospital Vrapče among adult inpatients and day hospital patients treated under primary diagnoses of Depressive episode and Recurrent depressive disorder (F32 and F33), and Schizophrenia, schizotypal and delusional disorders (F20-F29), according to the ICD-10 manual. Informed consent was obtained from all participants. Descriptive statistics and chi- square tests were used for statistical analysis.
