Modelling and simulation in metal forming processes application

Mathematical modelling and simulation are superstructure methods with the basic purpose of innovation, modernization, optimization and elevation of the existing processes on a higher technological-economical level. The usefulness of mathematical modelling and optimization can be observed in increase of the process productivity, increasing product quality, reduction of machining time and machining costs. In the paper is represented the following examples: modelling of the profiles forming from a strip, the calibration of rolls and the stochastic modelling and simulation of forming force.
