In his book, Learning Mindset for Leaders: Leveraging Experience to Accelerate Development, published in 2020, Steve Terrell (2020) offers readers an abundance of suggestions on how to develop and improve their learning ability as the key capability necessary for survival of every individual in our turbulent times. Development of learning ability is especially important for modern managers and leaders operating in the so- called “VUCA” conditions (volatility, uncertainty, complexity, ambiguity). Rapid technological development and current business restrictions caused by partial or total lockdown pose unprecedented challenges for people, and especially leaders, to adjust and transform quickly and effectively. In that way, learning should be embedded in our lives and integrated with our activities, resulting in the learning mindset.
