Improving corrosion protection process in production of wood-burning stoves by automation and mes integration

Corrosion is a multidisciplinary issue affecting almost all industrial sectors around the world. Losses due to corrosion are enormous and the economic impacts are significant, highlighting the dire need for a proactive approach to corrosion prevention and control. To increase corrosion resistance, while reducing paint consumption, negative environmental impact and improving operator ergonomics, it is necessary to automate the production process. The results of this analysis show the improvement of the painting process and improvement operator ergonomics in toxic, flammable, and explosive atmosphere.
