Women's Religious Voices. Migration, Culture and (Eco)Peacebuilding
The Edited Volume reveals women’s voices in theological and religious research to discuss the complex and dynamic question of women’s active participation and engagement in inter-religious dialogue, religious (eco)peace-building, and eco- justice in times of migrations, the refugee, the ecological, and the current health crisis. To face these uncertain circumstances, new ethical criteria and theological responses are investigated. Moreover, th e volume pursues potential ways of resolving the life difficulties and religio us conflicts that arise as a result of migration and which generate new disputes due to prejudices. Nine chapters of the monograph addr ess and analyse aspects of migration, refugee crises and homelessness of women, and present life stories from different areas (Croatia, Poland, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Slovenia) that have been ignored, silenced, neglected, and in this context question the role and elements of faith and religion. The chapters also include the results of field research (the case study of Croatia and Latvia) and particularities of individual field specifics (Bulgaria, Slovakia, Poland), as well as examp les of good practice and theoretical foundations for both ecotheology and the theological politics of hospitality and acceptance of the Other from eastern and central Europe.
