COVID-19 - Global Crisis (accent on health and communication)

From 1945 we did not witness to a global crisis such this pandemic. It is completely different type of crisis than we have experienced so far. Previous crisis were mostly characterized by an intensive and sharp effect, short duration in a defined geographical location. Even consequences of global warming process are influencing some areas and regions from time to time. COVID-19 is a contrast to them. It is global crisis, it hits everyone, everywhere, by its duration it is long-term and ongoing and repeated crisis. Therefore it is important to develop new way of approaching and thinking to solve challenges that we are facing with this crisis. Crisis communication (strategic communication abilities) is in hart of those thinking and problem-solving model. This is first time in our lives that all citizens where asked (sometimes it was a demand) to cooperate and directly influence capabilities of society and state in fighting this crisis. Citizens behavior has extremely important effect to spreading the virus and fighting with pandemic.
