Most people look forward to retirement to devote more time to themselves and their families. However, there is another group of people who are postponing this event. Various factors influence the decision to extend working life, closely related to the employee's job and position. This paper investigates events and causes that affect the postponement of retirement and the motives "forcing" people to extend their working life.
