PROJECT BASED LEARNING AND THE INTEGRATIVE APPROACH TO TEACHING ENGLISH FOR SPECIFIC PURPOSES AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS
This paper presents the integrative approach to teaching cross-curricular topics that may be adapted to the majority of courses that include interdisciplinary learning outcomes. The aforementioned approach has been exemplified by a workshop organized within the courses Communication Skills and Technical English, which may serve as a model for the organization of similar workshops in other fields, too. This approach involves a combination of synchronous and asynchronous teaching and the methodology relies on project-based learning.
