Utjecaj prostora na mjerenje glasa
Despite objectivity built in different methods of analysis and programs connected to it, the results of acoustic analysis are under influence of numerous factors that can vary acoustic parameters and contaminate its values. Potential sources of results variations are numerous. However, there is only a little data on it. The aim of this paper was to demonstrate the influence of environment on acoustic parameters of the voice. Each environment (room) has a certain acoustic characteristics, and these are dependent upon architectural and acoustic factors of the room, level of noise from internal sources, and influence of outside noise and vibrations. The influence of four different environment settings, where the voice samples were recorded, was shown in this article. Environment settings were (1) normal room, (2) very muffled room, (3) echoing room, and (4) normal room with outside noise. The 3D-voice spectrums of the prolonged vowel /a/, recorded in these environment settings, have clearly showed differences among them. That is why close attention must be given to selection of the rooms where the voice will be recorded because of further automatic measuring of acoustic voice parameters that are to be interpreted either through clinical or scientifically-explorative means.
