Comments on 'Flexibility of enzymatic transitions as a hallmark of optimized enzyme steady-state kinetics and thermodynamics'
System biology advances renewed the interest in enzyme kinetics and the optimization approaches for catalytic performance parameters. We show in this contribution why the maximization of total entropy production is not a good approach for simulating enzyme kinetics.
