Information System for Transmission Network

Every telecom administration is responsible for the development, monitoring, maintenance and management for their part of telecommunications network. The information technology enables us to store the description of telecommunication network in database and get the relevant piece of information when we need them. this paper presents the development process of the Information System for Transmission Network (TRIS). This proceeding includes the information description of transmission network, the definition of basic entities with attributes and relationships among them, as well as the relational conceptual database design. TRIS was verified on the selected model of transmission network.
