Sažetak
Diesel propulsion plant for large ships is very complex, high risk process with strong demands on its reliability and availability. The most important information and data about plant dynamics behaviour during normal and faulty operation needed for diagnostic and control system are collected from sensors, so their fail-operational feature is of very importance to overall plant reliability. An effective scheme in sensor faults detection and identification within marine diesel propulsion plant using on-line estimation method is given in the paper. The noise in sensor signals is taken into consideration. Simulation example of diesel engine speed sensor fault detection method based on measured and estimated signal values is presented. The Kalman filtering is used. Simulation results have shown good effectivness of proposed scheme in engine speed sensor faults detection.
