In today's world, most everyday interactions happen on the Internet. Almost all devices connect to the Internet, information is constantly being shared so much that we are not aware of it. But the Internet is not always secure and reliable. It is easy to come across incorrect information, be fooled or attacked and feel insecure about it. The question is whether there is technology that ensures the credibility of the data, which is difficult to cheat or hack. Closest to that is blockchain, a relatively new technology that has gained its popularity through Bitcoin, today's most famous cryptocurrency. Blockchain is becoming more and more familiar with technology, but given that it is a novelty, it begs the question of how familiar people are with the same, what it serves and what its further potentials are.
