Analiza odabranih fizikalno-kemijskih parametara kakvoće površinske vode na primjeru malog vodnog tijela Trnave

Trnava is a river located in Međimurje County and is the right tributary of Mura River. It originates in the area of Gornje Međimurje, it is 46.9 kilometres long and has a watershed of about 250 square kilometres. Trnava flows through or by any settled areas (mostly villages), which are all potential sources of pollution. The aim of this work was to give an overview of Trnava surface water quality based on physicochemical parameters and current regulations. The studied period refers to 2019 and two locations: 21041 and 21140. Analysed parameters were pH, biochemical oxygen demand, chemical oxygen demand, phosphorus and nitrogen compounds. Results indicate a bad and very bad condition depending on location. For example, in 2019 bad condition was determined for location 21041, while very bad condition was determined for location 21140.
