Refinements of the q-Steffensen Inequality and its Generalizations
Steffensen’s inequality has been investigated in many research papers since its appearance in 1918. A comprehensive survey of generalizations and refinements of the classical Steffensen inequality given in J. Pečarić, K. Smoljak Kalamir, S. Varošanec, Steffensen’s and related inequalities, Monograhps in inequalities 7, Element, Zagreb, 2014. and q−Steffensen’s inequality given in H. Gauchman, Integral inequalities in q−calculus, Comput. Math. Appl., 47, 281–300, 2004 and P. Rajković, M. Stanković, S. Marinković, M. Kirane, On q−Steffensen inequality, Electron. J. Differential Equations, 2018, Article No. 112, 1–11, 2018. have motivated us to give our contribution in obtaining quantum calculus generalizations of Steffensen’s inequality. In this talk we prove some refinements of the q−Steffensen inequality given by Gauchman and Rajković et al. Further, we give refinements for different generalizations of q−Steffensen’s inequality obtained in K. Smoljak Kalamir, Weaker conditions for the q−Steffensen inequality and some related generalizations, Mathematics, 8(9), Article No. 1462 (11 pages), 2020.
