Prioritizing factors for the successful deployment of digital competence certification systems in schools
This paper identifies and prioritize factors important for successful deployment of digital competence certification systems in primary and secondary schools. In total 298 teachers from six different European countries participated in research while using the newly created on-line platform for digital competence acquisition, assessment and certification for at least six months. Their responses were captured with developed measurement instrument that was based on three constructs from the DeLone McLean's IS Success Model. The Importance-Performance Map Analysis (IPMA) was conducted both at construct and indicator level. It was shown that System Use should have a bit more advantage over User Satisfaction when it comes to investing in digital competence certification systems.
