Temperature dependencies of the upper critical field and the Ginzburg-Landau parameter for single crystalline NbSe2

We present the results of magnetization M(H, T) measurements made on a NbSe2 single crystal for magnetic- field orientations both along and perpendicular to the c-axis of the crystal. The data were analyzed using a recently developed scaling procedure. We show that in the case of NbSe2, in addition to evaluating Hc2(T), the temperature dependence of the Ginzburg-Landau parameter may be extracted from the reversible-magnetization data.
