Radiofrequency electromagnetic radiation and reptiles/amphibians
Wireless communication technology is the fastest growing source of environmental pollution by electromagnetic radiation. The increase of wireless communication sources causes public concern due to possible harmful effects of radiofrequency electromagnetic radiation (RFEMR) on human and animal health. When we talk about the biological effects of RF-EMR on animals, we must point out that studies have been done on a various number of animal species from invertebrates to mammals. However, when it comes to RF-EMR pollution, reptiles and amphibians are a rarely studied group of animals. Therefore, the aim of this paper was to show an overview on the effect of electromagnetic radiofrequency radiation upon reptiles and amphibians
