The impacts of executive responses on democracy during the Coronavirus crisis in Croatia, Slovenia and Austria
This article seeks to explain variations in the quality of executive-legislative relations observed during the Coronavirus crises in Croatia, Slovenia and Austria. The specific thematic focus is placed upon institutional adaptations, choice of legal framework, use of the oversight tools by the parliamentarians and the role of judiciary in correcting political decisions. Based on conducted analysis the article makes conclusions that could be useful for the research of political systems in times of crisis, beyond the narrow scope of the three selected countries.
