Sažetak
Diode detectors have long been used for microwave power measurements. New applications include detecting RF induced voltage in wideband electric field probes. The needed characteristics of a diode detector for that application will be discussed in this paper. Since the modulation and/or waveform of measured electromagnetic field are often unknown, diode introduces a measurement error which depends on the characteristics of the diode.
