Development of the Traffic System, Mountain Regions and Tourism

A country that has the knowledge and the ability to manage with natural resources in a quality and effective way can be considered a rich one. Various possible users sometimes understand protection of the environment as the way of limiting the access and usage of natural resources. It is necessary to estimate that there are almost no areas within our countries, where no one has set his foot on and tried to alter them according to his measures. Natural environment, which has remained unpolluted to some extent, is nowadays used for tourism. Tourism as an economic activity is widespread and it also enables the survival to the parts of society that would, with different conditions, assimilate in some other form. The problems of tourism, that are in direct causal-consecutive connection to the environment, are mass activities, behaviour of the visitors towards the environment and assurance of the accessibility. Access to the mountain regions is ensured by the traffic system. Duties of the planners are therefore to ensure a traffic system that will carry out his task effectively and will at the same time consider all the needs and expectations of the natural environment as well as the cultural environment. Most of attention will be focused on methods and the procedures of a natural growth of the traffic system in the natural mountain regions. The most important parts of traffic system will be considered with the use of the suggested method, and the possibilities of reducing the influence of separated sub-systems and of the whole on the sensitive mountainous regions will be a subject to a detailed analysis.
