HEALTH AND KINESIOLOGY ACTIVITY AMONG STUDENTS

Physical exercise is an important factor in the prevention of many diseases, especially heart disease and in delaying and slowing down the reduction of work capacity which occurs with aging. An improvement and a maintaining of a functional capacity of the body is formed under the condition that the physical activity or exercise is that the kind and scope of exercise is such that it stimulates general aerobic endurance of the body (the ability of a high intensity performance over a longer period), i.e. that it includes a dynamic activity of at least one sixth of the total skeletal muscles cyclically. The purpose of this paper is to determine whether, and in what way, does the amount of physical activity influence the share of body fat and muscle mass.
