The importance of quality control of microbiological media in microbiological control of food
Laboratory diagnostics is important in quality control and food safety because it provides objective information about food quality and its impact on health. Fast, reliable and specific diagnostics can significantly contribute to appropriate quality control, from the analysis of raw foods, that is input raw materials in food production to the final industrial product. Based on the obtained results, it is possible to influence the promotion and popularization of a healthy diet. Proper preparation of microbiological media is an important step in conducting microbiological testing of food, and they are prepared according to the manufacturer's instructions, taking into account the principles of good laboratory practice.
