Social Justice and Childhood Vaccine Injuries
Health is vital for every human being as without health it is not possible to obtain a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being. Children are vulnerable young human beings and they are more at risk for illness and health complications. If children’s health is compromised by vaccination, it will certainly have negative effects on their well-being and disarrange their life plans. As social justice concerns “about well-being and about the outcome” it puts before the government the task to ensure that citizens have a sufficient amount of health as one of dimensions of well-being. Therefore, governments that want to be considered as just should take care of “fair, equitable, and appropriate distribution of benefits, burdens and costs“ of vaccination in order to promote and preserve well-being of its citizens.
