Experimental study of new guanidiniocarbonyl-pyrrole-aryl conjugates as potential inhibitors of human dipeptidyl peptidase III
Dipeptidyl peptidase III (DPP III) is zinc dependent peptidase which catalyses hydrolysis of the 2nd peptide bond from the N-termini of its substrates. DPP III is characterized by poor substrate specificity. Its fundamental physiological role is yet unknown, but research suggested its role in several processes of interest in drug development. Some guanidiniocarbonyl-pyrrole analogues showed promising DPP III inhibition properites. We designed and perpared new series of guanidiniocarbonyl-pyrrole-aryl analogues and studied their interactions with hDPP III by UV/Vis, fluorimetry. Molecular modelling of the complexes between hDPPIII and guanidiniocarbonyl- pyrrole-aryl conjugates.
