New proven relationship between the energy and GDP valid for each country during the long-term period

The long-term national energy strategies form a country’s economic objective to ensure an affordable, competitive and reliable supply of energy to meet a country’s development needs. Many authors attempt to determine the empirical relationship between the energy and gross domestic product. New relationship between these variables, that could have a practical significance for long-term planning of the economic policy of each country, have been given in this research. Data analysis is based upon long lasted series of the statistical data, periodically published in the United Nations Statistical Yearbooks. These data were used for the deduction of the mathematical dependences of electricity production per capita per annum and GDP per capita per annum. The research findings represent comprehensive logarithmic expression that contains three essential economic indicators, enabling classification of the countries according to their economic development level. The first indicator is energy indicator, which defines the grade of energetic potential of the state. The second one is financial indicator. It determines the financial power and the third is growth indicator (K), indicating dynamic rate of growth in each particular country. All ‘country curves’ are graphically presented as hyperbolic curves with different slope (K), ranging from 0, 1 to 6. The final relationship is logarithmic product of energy and GDP that is always constant for every state in the world! Due to the small percentage related to the calculated and statistical data, final expression can be reliably used for the long- term economy planning in each country of the world.
