Kinetic model for the bioconversion of glucose to 2, 5-diketo-D-gluconic acid

A mathematical model was developed for the oxidation of glucose with Ervinia citreus. The kinetics of the process was evaluated by respiratory activity. With this simple developed model based on kinetic measurements, it was possible to simulate the dynamic behavior of batch fermentation.
