New Product Development in Croatian Insurance Industry

A significant factor in the functioning of the insurance industry is the adaptation to new risks created by modern social development. Insurance companies must be able to keep up with market demands by creating new products and improving the properties of existing products. Only in this way will the insured be well protected from the risks that threaten them and their property. The most successful insurers on the market will be those who will place previously non-existent services on time. This paper analyzes the development of new products and innovations of existing products on the Croatian insurance market.
