User Communication within the Dance Studio Mobile Application

The aim of this work was to upgrade the mobile application of the dance studio. The first part of the paper describes the theoretical background such as the iOS mobile operating system, the Xcode integrated development environment and the Swift programming language. Paper describes also used database for this project Firebase Firestore, especially functionalities such as saving and retrieving data. All database collections of this mobile application are displayed. The basic functionalities of the application are described, such as creating user profiles, reviewing trainings, adding a profile image and etc. The difference in functionalities regarding different user roles are pointed out. Paper describes the way of presenting graphically designed statistical data, also the way of collecting data based on which the graphic presentation is done, the way how sharing results is implemented and how communication among all members of the dance studio is implemented. The thesis also describes the implementation of an algorithm for proposing future activities based on users' personal preferences.
