Secure Access to Personal Health Information in Electronic Health Records Specified Under the E-Europe Initiatives

Regarding that after initially promotion of development of electronic health service by the European Union, the increase of their use is recorded, and on the basis of conclusion that the health related information is the most frequently accessed information on the Internet, besides that the public interest for health telematics tools and devices is important item in the health budget of the member states, in the work there are identified key challenges of full implementation and uses of potentials which gives information society in the field of health. As a special problem is indicated the security approach to the electronic health services with the emphasis on the protection of personal health data on the electronic medias.
