Bicycling has been emphasized as a factor contributing to better health and physical conditions and is also environmentally friendly. It provides mobility irrespective of age and income it reduces the amount of noise and it requires comparatively less space than private motorized transport options. To present the epidemiology of fatal bicyclist injuries in traffic accidents in Croatia. To show the rate of bicyclists among all fatally injured persons in traffic accidents. To present the rate of bicyclists among seriously injured persons in traffic accidents.To suggest preventive measures in order to decrease bicycle fatalities and injuries in traffic accidents.There is a need to calculate the magnitude of the bicycle problem and its distribution across geographic areas, groups of people, injuries, etc.
