The strategic planning process, composed of the complex scientific and imaginative activities, might be perceived through the layers of an emerging inherent recession, especially within the last decade. It is necessary to reformulate the basic approach toe+ward the competitive and efficient business strategy. There is a need to build a new model. This model, market determined business strategy model, is to simulate the market picture painted by the recent and future needs of the consumerdomain. Market determined business strategy model could be decomposed in three parts: a) Market b) Competitive advantages c) Abilities to gain the competitive edge. Formulation of the model implies continuous research leading toward the best strategic options that in the end achieve the competitive edge.
