The New Epigraphic Monument of Imperial Cult in Histria
A fragment of the votive inscription dedicated to Augustus and decorated with patera and lituus in relief was found in Pula, reused in later fortifications of Hercules' Gate. The fragment is interpreted as a part of the base of statue of emperor Augustus, raised in last years of his life or shortly after his death AD 14.
