Late Roman Terracotta Lamps from Dragonera (Istria)
Paper deals with finds of lamps from the Late Roman stage (late 4th - 7th century AD) of two villae rusticae, Dragonera South and Dragonera North, placed on the south-western coast of Istria. African lamps of type Atlante VIII A1a are represented in the late 4th and early 5th century AD layers. African 5th century AD type Atlante XI is represented by one lamp. The well represented lamps of the type Atlante X A1a of African production and their imitations belong to the 5th and 6th centuries, while lamps "a rosario" of presumably Sicilian origin belong to the 7th century AD.
