Alternative and augmentative communication as an early intervention method

Augmentative and alternative communication can serve as early intervention method to build language and communication skills in children in early age. In this presentation are presented a) guiding principles and practices in supporting young children and their families with AAC ; b) key steps in enhancing AAC services and support ; c) Croatian initiative aimed at improving AAC service provision.
