Supporting the inclusion of persons with disabilities in high education in Croatia

The presentation include short introduction to Croatia and its public universities as well as University of Zagreb and particularly Faculty of Education and Rehabilitation Sciences. In continuation, support system for students with disabilities in Croatia and at University of Zagreb will be discussed. It includes number and definition of students with disabilities in high education in Croatia, legislation, rights of candidates and students with disabilities and forms of support for students with disabilities and for teachers and university administrative staff, too. University of Zagreb Office will be introduced as well as, shortly, Tempus project Education for Equal Opportunities at Croatian Universities – EduQuality. At the end of presentation, research results of satisfaction of students with disabilities with support system will be discussed.
