The political and personal life of the Dubrovnik nobleman, diplomat and writer Jaketa Palmotić Dionorić (? - 1680), was extremely dynamic and abounded in almost dramatic plots. He lived and performed delicate diplomatic duties in the most difficult period of Dubrovnik's history after the Great Cherry in 1667.
