Regulation of the ICT Market

This Title of the book includes the following chapters: Regulatory Framework of the Telecommunications Sector (Chapter 1, pp. 37-66) ; Regulation of Competition on the ICT Market (Chapter 2, pp. 67-71) ; Regulation of Cryptography and Other Dual-Use Goods (Chapter 3, pp. 72-75) ; Legal Status of Standardization (Chapter 4, pp. 76-80) and Legal Status of Out-of- Court Dispute Settlement in the ICT Sector (Chapter 5, pp. 81-88). Chapter 1 explores the electronic communications regulatory framework in the Republic of Croatia and related regulatory decisions. Explored topics include inter alia the regulatory authority and regulatory aims, general authorization, management and use of the radio frequency spectrum, management of addressing and numbering resources, requirements for the electronic communications infrastructure and other associated facilities, regulatory obligations and decisions relating to market definition and market analysis procedures, regulation of universal services and end-user protection, enforcement and sanctions.
