A research project, financed by the Croatian Science Foundation, was conducted at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Geodesy, University of Split from 2014 to 2018. A multidisciplinary team of scientists consisting of archaeologists, architects and civil engineers set out to investigate the two Roman water systems fed by the same source - the Jadro river spring. The first one is of Salona, while the second one is of the Emperor Diocletian’s palace. The results of studying the second one are presented in this paper.
