Allegorical presentation of "Croatia" in the late 19th and early 20th century architectural sculpture

The paper discuss the topic of architectural sculpture in Zagreb and provide an insight in the phenomenon of allegorical representation of a nation in a sculptural form as well as a comparative overview of stylistic and iconographic interpretation of the sculptures personifying "Croatia".
