RELATIONS BETWEEN THE SYSTEMS OF MORPHOLOGICAL FEATURES AND MOTOR ABILITIES AND THEIR COMMON INFLUENCE ON AEROBIC CAPACITY AMONGST BOYS OF PRESCHOOL AGE
A system of 25 variables was applied on the sample of 69 preschool boys, out of which one variable of aerobic capacity (as criterion variable), 14 variables of morphological characteristics and 10 variables of motor abilities (as distinct systems of predictorial variables). This research was first aimed at establishing relations between two different anthropological spaces (morphological and motor) and later at establishing their common influence on the criterion variable of aerobic capacity (three minutes of running) in order to form as rational procedures as possible while diagnosing, planning and programming of educational materials as well as an optimal development of the relevant characteristics and capabilities which directly or indirectly contribute to the development of aerobic capacity most. The establishment of relations between two different multidimensional anthropological systems of manifest variables was conducted by the application of the canonical corelational analysis method and their common influence on the criterion variable was calculated with the help of regressional analysis. The results of the canonical relational analysis have shown that there was no relevant differentiation of morphological characteristics and motor capabilities amongst preschool boys and that a high and desired integrality has been preserved while the results of the regressional analysis show that the whole system of (multivariant) applied morphological and motor variables has a statistically significant influence on aerobic endurance on the level of .00 (p=00), which in practice means that in the future work with boys of this age group a special attention has to be paid on the application of motor contents which are aimed at the development of relevant characteristics and abilities for achieving better results in aerobic capacity.
