In Memoriam (Petar Krešimir Čolić)

Petar Krešimir Čolić, the most outstanding member of the Croatian Geodetic Community, died on 27th May, at the age of 61. He was a full professor at the Faculty of Geodesy, University of Zagreb since 1986 and the full member of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts since 1992. During his long and fruitfull scientific career, he made a tremendous impact on the development of modern geodesy in his homeland. His international cooperation allowed the realization of fundamental projects for the future of Croatian geodesy.
