Protection of personal data and public and private sector provisions in the implementation of the general EU directive on personal data (GDPR)
In this paper, author presents new EU data protection regulation and the public and private sector provisions in the implementation of the GDPR which will will provide a modernised, accountability based compliance framework for data protection in Europe. The aim of this Regulation is to remove obstacles to cross-border trade and enable easier expansion of businesses across Europe. The new rules will establish one single European law for data protection, replacing the current inconsistent national laws.while eliminating the need to consult with local lawyers to ensure local compliance for the franchised shops. The result will show in direct cost savings and rise of legal certainty in the growing digital economy.
