Result of the Transition and Globalisation Process

Observing the happenings on the market labour for past years, we could make a conclusion that the presence of globalisation process can be easily detected. In this work, the review of new trends on market labour, which have appeared as result of globalisation and transition process, is given. The transition process in former socialist countries, in it basic sense, is product of total globalisation consequences on world market. Adapting to globalisation, as the closing of non-competitive enterprises and transferring founds threw the new profit sectors is, could have unpredictable consequences on entire functioning of each economy. Due to that fact this work is trying to show positive and negative aspects of this process on global market labour. In first part of this work, the transition process consequences on the market labour of former communist countries are observed. In all transition countries it came to the relevant rising of unemployment. All of them are facing the labour market crisis that came out as result of unfit market infrastructure, low labour productivity and non-competitive domesticly produced products. Hidden unemployment that is typical for plan economy, suddenly become an open unemployment. In second part, the migrations on the market labour as the transition process consequences are observed. Estimation of international migrations is very difficult because of different factors, but the certain conclusions are made. It is noticed that as a result of international population migration, the number of population is increasing in industrial countries, but that is not the fact in transition countries. In third part, total globalisation process of market labour on the European union level, is observed. Because of, spreading of market labour migration from the former communist countries to the European union countries, in the period of nineties it is coming to the unequal rising of unemployment number between the Union members. So, high unemployment rates have become large problem of European union countries. The comparisons with the U.S. market labour, which is also faced with the new migrant wave, as the consequence of globalisation process will be made.
