Thinking technics of Edward de Bono - case study
In this paper we are going to discuss the empathy and attitudes towards space characteristics of kindergarten teacher in a context of humanistic education. To be specific, these aspects of educational work we observe as phenomenons of the hidden curriculum, which is generally considered to be unofficial and planned unconsciously, in contrast to the officially prescribed curriculum. The phenomena of the hidden curriculum are constantly present in the educational process in every learning environment. The aim of the paper is to examine the relation of two observed aspects of the hidden curriculum, that we recognized inherent to humanistic education. We will also attempt to provide more insight into the phenomena of empathy and the attitudes towards kindergarten space in themselves, the degree of their presence depending on the age and the years of work experience, possible correlations or statistically significant differences. In addition, we will examine these phenomena in the context of two neighbouring countries, Croatia and Slovenia.
